Job summary

Kids Planet Mapperley South is seeking a Deputy Manager to cover maternity leave. Based at Porchester Rd, Nottingham, you’ll work closely with the nursery manager to oversee daily operations and ensure high standards of care within the EYFS framework.

The role requires Level 3 in a UK recognised early years qualification, strong EYFS knowledge, safeguarding expertise, and leadership experience within a nursery.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 3 UK early years qualification.
• Excellent understanding of EYFS and safeguarding.
• Proven leadership experience in a nursery setting.

Responsibilities

• Support the manager in all nursery operations and day-to-day running.
• Build warm relationships with families and coordinate with agencies to support child development.
• Lead and support the nursery team to ensure safety and EYFS delivery.
