Job summary

Kids Planet North Wingfield is seeking a Deputy Manager to support the nursery's day-to-day operations, helping lead a passionate team to deliver outstanding early years care.

You will work closely with the nursery manager to ensure EYFS requirements are met, safeguard children, build strong relationships with families, and create a warm, inclusive environment.

The role offers training via KP Academy, enhanced leave for family matters, and a competitive salary with a supportive central team.

Qualifications

• Must be Level 3 qualified in a UK recognised early years qualification.
• Excellent understanding of EYFS.
• Extensive knowledge of safeguarding children.

Responsibilities

• Support the manager with day-to-day nursery operations and lead the team to ensure smooth daily running.
• Build warm, trusting relationships with families and coordinate with external agencies as needed.
• Guide and support the nursery team, ensure children's safety, and bring EYFS to life in an engaging way.
