Job description

Job Description: Deputy Nursery Manager

We are excited to announce an opening for a Deputy Nursery Manager position to join our diverse team in our brand-new boutique nursery in Wandsworth.

The position will be split between being in ratio, working directly with the children and office based, taking on administrative duties.

Hours: 40 hours Monday-Friday

Salary: £39,000 - £43,000

Location: Wandsworth SW18 1GG

We are a growing nursery, opening two more sites with opportunities to grow and progress in your career.

About us

We are a new beautifully refurbished nursery getting ready to enrol children. The nursery has a capacity of 50 over 3 bright and spacious rooms: baby, toddler, and pre-school. We will have an in-house chef preparing delicious and nutritious meals daily.

We are based by the riverside and the beautiful Wandsworth Park, which we will be accessing as our outdoor space.

Our exciting nursery curriculum includes teaching/lessons from external professionals including Music (piano lessons), Spanish lessons, Sport and Football lessons with Spanish coaches, Dance and Drama, and Yoga. The idea behind our curriculum is that, as well as the children benefiting from the additional classes, the staffing team will not be overwhelmed with the duties of observations and paperwork whilst being in ratio. This will allow staff the time to be fully engaged with the children and complete mandatory tasks in a relaxed, stress-free environment. Our experienced team has put much thought into the planning of our curriculum. A strong team and staff well-being is a top priority for us; happy teachers lead to happy children!
