A sensational Nursery and Preschool in Chadwell Heath is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and dedicated Deputy Nursery Manager to join our Senior Management Team. Based in the heart of Chadwell Heath, this exciting opportunity is perfect for an early year's professional looking to lead, inspire and make a real difference.

About the Role Deputy Nursery Manager:
As Deputy Nursery Manager, you'll play a vital role in supporting the Setting Manager with the day-to-day operation of the nursery. You will help lead the team to deliver outstanding childcare, ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, and uphold the highest standards of safeguarding, care, and education.

Your Responsibilities will Include:

  • Supervising and mentoring staff and students
  • Leading planning meetings and ensuring high-quality delivery of the EYFS curriculum
  • Overseeing children's records, assessments and two-year progress checks
  • Conducting risk assessments and ensuring a safe and stimulating environment
  • Building strong partnerships with parents, carers, and the wider community
  • Taking on full responsibility for the nursery in the manager's absence

Key Requirements - Deputy Nursery Manager, Chadwell Heath
To be Successful in This Role, You Will Need:

  • A minimum Level 4 qualification in Early Years (Level 3 with extensive experience considered)
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Ofsted standards
  • Previous leadership experience in an early years setting
  • A passion for childcare and a commitment to excellence
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • A full UK driving licence (essential)
