Job summary

Marylebone Services is seeking a qualified, experienced Deputy Manager for a brand-new Montessori-inspired nursery in London. The role is full-time, four days per week, 8:00am–6:00pm, Monday to Friday, with Thursdays focused on administrative and managerial responsibilities.

The nursery caters for up to 29 children aged 3 months to 5 years, with a strong emphasis on EYFS and safeguarding. The successful candidate will have Montessori exposure or genuine interest, excellent communication and team

• Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent recognised UK childcare qualification).
• Experience in a leadership role in a nursery setting in the UK.
• Clear Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
• Right to work in the UK.

Marylebone Services is delighted to help a brand-new small Montessori-inspired nursery find a Qualified, experienced & dedicated full-time Deputy Manager to work alongside the Nursery Manager. The role will be predominantly room-based, supporting practitioners and overseeing daily practice with Thursdays dedicated to administrative and managerial responsibilities. The Nursery is small and caters for a maximum of 29 children between the ages of 3 months to 5 years old. This is a FULL TIME role working 4 days per week with shifts operating between 8:00am and 6:00pm, Monday to Friday. The Manager is particularly interested in a deputy manager who is confident in the EYFS, safeguarding and team leadership, Montessori experience being particularly desirable.

Key Requirements

• Qualification: Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent recognised UK childcare qualification).
• Experience: Proven experience working within a leadership role in a nursery setting in the UK; Montessori experience or a genuine interest in Montessori education would be highly desirable.
• Compliance: Clear Enhanced DBS check (or willing to undergo one).
• Right to Work: Must have the valid right to work in the UK.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and organisational skills.
