Job description

We are looking for an experienced Deputy Manager to join the team in Bristol, Hengrove area. The salary is up to £31,000 depending on experience. You will be working in a great team and will become a key part of the nursery’s internal structure with the opportunity to strengthen both your leadership and management skills.

Responsibilities
  1. Inspire children to grow happy, smart, and healthy, and help them thrive as individuals.
  2. Assist the Nursery Manager with the effective day-to-day management of the nursery.
  3. Ensure all children receive rich and stimulating experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development.
  4. Develop positive relationships with staff, support, supervise, train, and appraise all staff to ensure high-quality childcare practice.
  5. Support the Nursery Manager in identifying training needs, developing training plans, and evaluating staff training.
  6. Assist in delivering occupancy targets and maintain effective communication with children, staff, parents, and carers.
  7. Help ensure that complaints and concerns are actively resolved and reported to the Regional Manager.
Qualifications

You must be qualified to a minimum of Level 3 in Childcare & Education and have previous experience in a similar role.
