Job description

We are looking for an experienced Deputy Manager to join our team in Wokingham. The salary starts from £30,000, depending on experience. You will be part of a great team and will play a key role in the nursery’s internal structure, providing opportunities to enhance your leadership and management skills.

Responsibilities
  1. Inspire children to grow happy, smart, and healthy, supporting their development as individuals.
  2. Assist the Nursery Manager with the effective day-to-day management of the nursery.
  3. Ensure all children receive rich and stimulating experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development.
  4. Develop positive working relationships with staff, support, supervise, train, and appraise staff to ensure high-quality childcare.
  5. Support the Nursery Manager in identifying training needs, developing training plans, and evaluating staff training.
  6. Help deliver occupancy targets and maintain effective communication with children, staff, parents, and carers.
  7. Assist in resolving complaints and concerns promptly and report to the Regional Manager as needed.
Qualifications

Minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare & Education and previous experience in a similar role are required.
