Role Overview:

We are seeking a Deputy Nurse Manager to join our busy managerial team in Belfast. JustNurses, a leading UK nursing recruitment agency with a 30-year history, is expanding its Northern Ireland branch to enhance clinical services for our nursing and care staff, as well as our clients.

The Deputy Nurse Manager will support daily operations, including conducting interviews, clinical supervision, appraisals, and revalidations, ensuring compliance with RQIA standards, providing training advice, and managing complaints and professional concerns. This role does not involve direct patient care.

Requirements:

  • Experience in Mental Health Nursing is essential.
  • Safety Interventions Instructor Qualification is advantageous.
  • Minimum 2 years post-graduate nursing experience or recruitment sector experience with NMC registration.
  • Good IT and communication skills.
  • Understanding of NHS and private healthcare compliance and standards, including RQIA.
  • Part-time hours: 2-3 days/week, 9:00-17:30, office-based.
  • Salary: £38,000/year (full-time equivalent), pro-rata for part-time.
