The Job:
- Handle all meeting and event inquiries
- Update S&C with accurate info and generate reports
- Review business plans, identify gaps, and proactively meet targets
- Contribute to the hotel's selling strategy and ensure departmental adherence
- Understand the local market and implement competitive strategies
- Distribute function sheets timely with detailed content
- Manage conference billing and brochure requests
- Attend revenue and operations meetings with up-to-date figures
- Handle guest complaints professionally
- Coordinate with sister hotels for cross-selling opportunities
- Monitor business highs and lows and plan accordingly
- Identify and act on sales opportunities
- Complete monthly sales and statistical reports
- Manage VIPs and show rounds communication
