Deputy Medical Director - Occupational Health
Location: Home based with some travel to Aberdeen
Salary: Competitive + Benefits Package
Hours: Part time
We're working on behalf of a leading Occupational Health provider to recruit an experienced and dynamic Deputy Medical Director. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on, forward-thinking physician who thrives in both clinical and strategic leadership roles.
You'll be instrumental in guiding the clinical direction of the service, deputising for the Medical Director and ensuring high-quality delivery across operations, client relationships, and governance.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide clinical leadership across Occupational Health services
  2. Act as Deputy to the Medical Director, ensuring continuity of service and communication
  3. Deliver a range of clinical services including medical assessments and management referrals
  4. Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the service
  5. Represent the organisation in client meetings and support account management
  6. Mentor and support clinical teams across locations
  7. Contribute to strategic planning and senior management discussions
  8. Ensure compliance with internal policies and SEQOHS standards
  9. Support integration of digital OH systems
About You:
  1. GMC registered with licence to practice in the UK
  2. Experienced Occupational Health Physician
  3. DOccMed / AFOM / MFOM preferred
  4. Strong leadership, mentoring and interpersonal skills
  5. Confident working across multidisciplinary teams and with external stakeholders
  6. Excellent IT proficiency and familiarity with OH systems
  7. Willingness to travel to Aberdeen occasionally
