Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Manager in the day-to-day operations of the service.
  • Support the development and implementation of care plans for children and young people.
  • Supervise and mentor staff, ensuring high standards of care and support.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Contribute to the recruitment, training, and development of staff.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation as required.
  • Engage with children and young people to promote their well-being and development.
  • Act as the designated safeguarding lead in the absence of the Manager.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to service improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Level 3 Diploma in Children's Care, Learning and Development or equivalent.
  • Experience in a supervisory role within children's services.
  • Strong leadership and supervision skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Children Services - Deputy Management training or equivalent.
