Qualifications and Experience:
- Broad experience managing people, service, and quality within Mental Health and Learning Disabilities sectors.
- NVQ / QCF in Health and Social Care Level 3 or above, with willingness to work towards Level 4.
- High personal integrity and commitment to high standards of service.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently.
- Effective communication skills at all levels.
- Good understanding of CQC legislation, updates, and best practices.
- Knowledge of commercial principles and practices.
About Taith Cartref:
A 13-bed home on Gellionen Mountain in Clydach, Swansea, in a mansion house formerly owned by the Nickle Works. The home has 9 ensuite bedrooms and 4 flats, with large grounds and a patio. We support individuals with mental health issues and complex needs such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, autism, learning disabilities, and substance misuse. Our trained staff provide 24-hour support, promoting independence.
The home is within walking distance of Clydach village, with transport links to Swansea City Centre, Neath, Llanelli, and proximity to the M4 for access to Cardiff, Carmarthen, and Brecon. The Clydach canal offers walking and cycling paths.
