Job summary

Orchard Care Homes is looking for a dedicated Deputy Manager to join their team at Thornton Hall & Lodge. This role involves leading the care team and supporting the Home Manager in daily operations to ensure high-quality care for residents, including those with dementia.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, strong leadership skills, and a Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management for Adult Care. The position offers a salary of £38,799 per annum with numerous employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Deputy Manager in a larger care home or in a leadership role within a care setting.
• Strong understanding of CQC standards, DoLS, and the Mental Capacity Act (MCA).
• Ability to prioritize tasks, remain organized, and make sound decisions under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
• Lead, supervise, and support the care team to deliver outstanding care.
• Participate in assessments and care reviews, acting as a key contact for residents, families, and staff.
