Qualifications

  • Participation in on-call rota and flexibility required.
  • Proven regulatory and compliance knowledge.

  • Ensure compliance with CQC fundamental standards.
  • Create a positive atmosphere for the efficient running of the Home.

Deputy Care Manager – Learning Difficulties

The ideal candidate will have:
• Experience of Learning Disabilities
• To assess medical competencies for team leaders and support workers
• Be qualified to Level 3 and a willingness to work towards level 4/5
• Already be a deputy/ unit manager with established work history within care homes, or an ambitious senior care assistant looking to progress
• Be willing to support and mentor staff to achieve high standards
• Willing to participate in the on-call rota and be able to work flexibly to meet the needs of the business

Key duties will include:
• Ensure all staff members contribute to the best of their ability to the efficient running of the Home, and to the creation of an atmosphere conductive to the best
• Take the lead, in the absence of the Registered Home Manager, for all regulatory and compliance requirements, send necessary notifications to CQC and promote Duty of Candour. Ensure the service provision meets the CQC fundamental standards and is safe, caring, effective, responsive and well-led.
