Job Description:

A Not-for-Profit Therapeutic Independent fostering agency is looking for a Deputy Manager to oversee and support a team of 3 social workers in Essex. This agency has recently received an Outstanding rating at their latest Ofsted inspection.

This is a HOME BASED role.

You will manage a small caseload of up to 4 families, provide robust supervision to SSWs linked to the agency's Essex Office, and support SSWs in their daily tasks to ensure high standards of service, especially during difficulties or staff shortages/annual leave.

Requirements: A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW), valid registration with Social Work England, and experience in Fostering, preferably in a senior role.
