Lifeways is recruiting a Deputy Manager in Glenrothes to support a brand-new 6-bed service. You will help lead a team to deliver person-centred care and shape the service from the ground up, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

You will bring leadership experience in social care, a Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification (desirable or in progress), and a commitment to empowering adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Health & Social Care desirable (or working towards).
• Experience supporting people with autism and learning disabilities.
• 3 years experience in social care with supervisory level responsibilities.

We are recruiting for an enthusiastic and motivated Deputy Manager to support our Registered Manager in leading this brand-new, purpose-built 6-bed service. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role from the very beginning, helping to shape a high-quality service that empowers people with learning disabilities to live fulfilling, independent lives.

We’re looking for a strong, confident autonomous leader who:

• Leads with positivity, compassion, and confidence
• Inspires teams to deliver outstanding, person-centred support
• Champions quality, safety, and continuous improvement
• We are looking for someone who understands the complexities of supporting individuals with learning disabilities and complex physical needs.

In this role, you will:

• Support the Registered Manager to inspire and develop our team of support workers in the delivery of high-quality care and support.
• Drive service improvements and quality standards.
• Build strong relationships with your team, families, outside professionals, and communities.

You’ll lead with purpose, inspire your teams, and deliver the highest standards of care while shaping the future of services.

What You’ll Bring

• A Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care is desirable (or working towards)
• A proven track record supporting people living with autism and learning disabilities.
• Values which align with our Lifeways Values.
• 3 years experience within social care with proven experience at a supervisory level.
