Job Title: Deputy Manager - Clinical Lead

Salary *: £26.50ph, plus 10% SMART objectives based bonus paid quarterly

Hours: Full time 7am-7pm 3-4 days a week to include alternate weekends

Location: Sleaford, NG34 9PL

Team Members under 21 will be paid at £1.00 per hour less, which is significantly above National Minimum Wage guidelines for this age group*

A little about St Andrew's Nursing and Care Home:

St Andrew's is located in the lovely village of Ewerby (5 miles to the East of Sleaford). The home is set around a lovely old vicarage, which has been selectively extended in keeping with its character. This provides the homeliness that Jasmine seeks for its homes, whilst still providing modern living accommodation. The home provides personal care, including nursing and dementia care, for 42 residents.

Day to Day Responsibilities for Deputy Manager - Clinical:

  • Working alongside our Home Manager, you will achieve Jasmine's mission in our home, by ensuring all our residents are provided with the highest standards of care, and doing everything you can to develop, motivate, and improve the wellbeing of your team.
  • You will ensure care plans for our residential residents are completed within the timescales require by the company policy and ensure that all care plans are evaluated at least once a calendar month.
  • You will ensure all our team members are fully competent with medication, ensuring weekly audits are completed and medication is requested in plenty of time. Medication handling must be always carried out correctly, including ensuring all old medication is returned to the pharmacy each month and it is booked in on a timely basis.

Essential Requirements for Deputy Manager - Clinical:

  • Relevant Professional qualification (e.g. Registered Nurse (RGN / RMN / RNLD))
  • Minimum of three years' experience in residential / nursing home setting of which at least one year must be with people living with dementia
  • Conducting effective person centred One to Ones
  • Live within 30 minutes of the Home

Preferred Requirements for Deputy Manager - Clinical:

  • Have two years' experience in a similar role in a nursing home.
  • Have one year experience of caring for residents living with dementia.
  • Driving Licence
