Deputy Manager – Residential Children's Home

Location: Aylesbury
Salary: £40,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to join their residential children's home in Aylesbury. This is a fantastic opportunity for a compassionate and driven professional to play a key role in providing high-quality care and support to young people.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home

  • Support and mentor staff to ensure high standards of care are maintained

  • Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding procedures

  • Contribute to care planning and behavioural management strategies

  • Lead by example, creating a safe and nurturing environment for young people

Requirements:
  • Experience in a residential children's home setting

  • Strong leadership and staff management skills

  • Good knowledge of Ofsted requirements and safeguarding procedures

  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) – Level 5 desirable or willingness to work towards it

  • Passion for making a positive impact on young people’s lives
