Deputy Manager – Children’s Residential Home (Mental Health)
Salary: £18 per hour

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children and young people with mental health needs? We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Deputy Manager to join our warm and supportive team in our children’s residential home in Friday Bridge.

About the Role:
As Deputy Manager, you will work closely with the Registered Manager to lead a team that provides high-quality, therapeutic care for children with complex mental health needs. You will play a key role in ensuring our young people feel safe, supported, and empowered to achieve their potential.

Responsibilities:

Support the day-to-day running of the home

Lead and motivate a team of care staff

Promote a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment

Support with care planning, risk assessments, and key working

Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and standards

Participate in an on-call rota as required

What We’re Looking For:

Experience working in a children’s residential setting (mental health experience preferred)

A minimum Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards)

Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills

A calm, resilient, and nurturing approach
