Job summary

CareTech Group’s Branas Isaf residential service in Bromyard is seeking a capable Deputy Manager to lead a child-centred home. You’ll work with the registered manager to deliver high-quality, therapeutic care while nurturing staff development.

The role requires safeguarding expertise, leadership experience in children’s services, and a willingness to undertake sleep-ins. A full UK driving licence is essential, with a supportive progression path and benefits package.

Qualifications

At least 2 years’ experience in children’s residential care.
QCF Level 3 in Children & Young People.
Full UK manual driving licence.
Ability to commit to sleep ins with a rolling rota.
Strong safeguarding knowledge, emotional resilience, and leadership ability.

Responsibilities

Provide strong, visible leadership and develop the team.
Safeguarding, safety, and therapeutic practice.
Ensure the home meets regulatory standards.
Create a nurturing, structured environment for young people.
Collaborate with education, therapy, and clinical staff to deliver holistic care.
