Service Care Solutions Ltd in Stoke-on-Trent and Trafford is seeking a Deputy Manager to help lead a children's residential home and deliver high-quality, child-centred care. You will work alongside the Registered Manager to drive day-to-day operations and safeguard young people.

In this role you’ll lead and develop the residential team, manage care plans and risk assessments, and ensure records are maintained while meeting regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in children's residential care.
• Experience leading a residential team with safeguarding focus.
• Strong communication and organisational abilities.
• Ability to manage plans, risk assessments and placement planning.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child protection practice.

Responsabilités

• Assist with day-to-day management of the home alongside the Registered Manager.
• Lead, motivate and support the residential team.
• Ensure high-quality, child-centred care for young people.
• Build positive relationships with young people and families.
• Oversee staff supervision, development and performance.
• Contribute to care plans, risk assessments and placement planning.
• Support recruitment, induction and training.
• Monitor standards of care and maintain records.
• Ensure regulatory and organisational requirements are met.
• Cover the home in the Registered Manager's absence.
