Location: Maiden Bradley

Salary: £33,664 - £34,881 per annum PLUS additional sleep-in payments (£62.64 per sleep).

Hours: Full-time, working a flexible schedule of shifts, office days, and occasional sleep-ins.

What We\'re Looking For
  • A minimum of 3 years\' proven experience within children\'s residential care.
  • A relevant NVQ Level 3 or ideally Level 4 in Children\'s Residential Workforce.
  • A strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding best practices.
  • A highly motivated, proactive, and enthusiastic approach to your work.
  • Exceptional people management skills with a hands-on leadership style.
  • Experience managing budgets and rotas effectively.
  • A full UK driving licence is essential for this role.
  • Flexibility to work shifts and sleep-in duties to meet the needs of the children.
Your Role in Making a Difference

Working alongside a supportive Service Manager and Registered Manager, you\'ll be instrumental in maintaining a nurturing and safe environment for the children and young people in your care. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring the delivery of high-quality care services and contributing to strategic planning for the home\'s development.
  • Overseeing the day-to-day management of the home.
  • Leading and inspiring your team, working collaboratively with other professionals to provide therapeutic care tailored to each child\'s needs.
  • Acting as a positive role model for both colleagues and children, fostering trusting relationships that promote recovery, growth, and lasting positive change.
  • Supervising and mentoring staff, managing work patterns, facilitating care-focused training, and coordinating access to necessary support services.
