Job summary

Knowsley Council is recruiting a Deputy Manager for a residential children's home in the Knowsley area, providing accommodation for up to three children and young people. You will work alongside the Registered Manager, supporting staff to deliver high-quality care and ensuring compliance with legislation and policies.

The role requires QCF Level 3 in Children and Young People, with QCF Level 5 Leadership and Management preferred or willingness to complete.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in a residential setting within children's services.
• Understanding of relevant legislation and safeguarding policies.
• Ability to support staff to deliver high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Support the Registered Manager to deliver high-quality care and support.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Lead and supervise staff to maintain a safe, responsive environment for children and young people.
