Job summary

CareTech UK Ltd is seeking a Deputy Manager for the High Road service in Ilford. You will support the Registered Manager to run the home and lead a dedicated care team, ensuring person-centred, high-quality care for residents.

The role requires supervisory experience, an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent), and strong leadership and communication skills. You will work on a rota with some unsociable hours, contributing to a safe, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a supervisory or management role in a care setting.
• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
• Knowledge of CQC regulations and standards.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Willingness to work unsociable hours on a rota basis.

Responsibilities

• Support the Registered Manager in operational management of the home.
• Be 50% supernumerary to focus on leadership and oversight.
• Lead, coach and motivate a team of care staff.
• Ensure care is delivered to the highest standards.
• Build strong relationships with families and professionals.
• Support compliance with regulatory requirements, policies, and CQC standards.
