Domus Recruitment is assisting with an opportunity for an experienced Deputy Manager in a residential care home in the United Kingdom. You will support the Registered Manager, oversee day-to-day operations and ensure high-quality, person‑centred care.

Qualifications

• Recent senior care experience (minimum 3 years)
• Strong understanding of CQC regulations and adult social care standards
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
• Willingness to cover shifts as needed

Responsibilities

• Support the Registered Manager in all operational management and regulatory compliance
• Cover the Registered Manager when on leave or absent
• Provide leadership, supervision and guidance to care staff
• Complete care planning, audits, assessments and quality monitoring
• Ensure safe, effective and person‑centred care delivery
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold CQC standards
• Act as a point of contact for families and external agencies
• Assist with safeguarding, incident management and risk assessments
• Administer medication within a busy care home environment
