Job summary

Care & Support Services is opening a new registered children's home in Cannock, designed to provide therapeutic, consistent, and emotionally secure care for young people with complex needs. As Deputy Manager you will help lead the development from the start, embedding structure, culture and high standards.

You will lead care teams, model trauma-informed interactions, assist with rotas, audits and internal systems, and act as a key contact for professionals, families and young people to ensure

Qualifications

• Residential childcare experience, ideally with EBD or complex needs.
• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (minimum), working toward Level 4 or higher
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and trauma-informed practice
• Leadership experience in a regulated care setting
• Calm, confident, and supportive approach to team and young people
