What You’ll Do

• Support young people with their daily routines, such as getting them ready for school, preparing meals, and planning activities.
• Create a warm, homely environment by assisting with light housekeeping.
• Lead shifts and deputise for the home manager.
• Build strong, meaningful relationships and provide emotional support.
• Plan and participate in fun activities like trips to the park, movie nights, or creative projects.
• Keep essential records to ensure the best possible care.

Where You’ll Do It

Perrymill is a closed home where three young people can live. The home is currently undergoing improvements to create a warm and welcoming environment, with a large garden and ample space for personalization. We are building a team committed to making a positive impact on young lives, working together to create a safe and nurturing home. Our focus is on helping young people reach their goals and achieve their highest potential.

Who You Are

• Warm, patient, a great listener, and an encourager—focused on achieving outcomes for others.
• Driver with a full UK driving license.
• Hold a minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare.
• Have at least two years of experience working in a children's residential setting.
