Job summary

Grandir UK Limited's Whitwick Day Nursery is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Deputy Manager to join our team in Coalville. You will play a key role in caring for, supporting and inspiring our children, encouraging curiosity and helping them thrive every day.

Responsibilities

• Create an environment that supports the individual needs of all children.
• Maintain systems to monitor, evaluate and improve the quality of childcare practices.
• Maintain effective methods of communication with children, staff, parents and carers.
• Maintain open and positive working relationships with staff.
• Ensure that practices and provision in the nursery meet the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Assist in agreeing and reviewing individual targets with staff.
• Assume playroom and additional management responsibilities when required.
• Keep costs in line with the budget.

About Our Nursery

Whitwick Day Nursery and Preschool is a friendly, welcoming nursery based in the heart of Whitwick, Coalville. Located within a beautifully converted primary school building that has been recently refurbished, our nursery offers a safe, nurturing environment where children feel happy, secure, and excited to learn.

What will you be doing
