SGS Care Ltd is seeking a confident Deputy Manager for a children's home in Liverpool. The role involves supporting the management in providing therapeutic care for young people with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and Learning Disabilities (LD). Job Title: Deputy Manager
Location: Huyton, Liverpool
Salary: £35,000 per annum
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm (occasional shifts if required)
Number of Sleeps Required: None routinely expected
Service: Children’s Home
Service Users: YPs aged 10–18 with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), Learning Disabilities (LD)
Qualifications Required: NVQ/Diploma Level 3 or 4 in Children & Young People (essential); Level 5 Diploma or management qualification (desirable)
Experience in Years Required: Minimum 3 years in Residential Childcare, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role

The successful candidate will take the lead on operational areas and deputise in the manager's absence. A strong understanding of the needs of young people with EBD and LD is essential, alongside a firm commitment to providing consistent, therapeutic care.
