Deputy Manager Role Overview

The Deputy Manager will report to the Registered Manager and is responsible for delivering high standards of care in accordance with MMCG policies, procedures, and external regulatory requirements.

This includes the efficient and effective day-to-day running of the Home, developing exceptional personalised services for every service user and their loved ones, managing all staff, and developing positive working relations with external stakeholders. This is a fundamental role within Social Care.

This role is ideal for a first-level Registered Nurse holding a valid PIN, with experience in supervising care teams, and looking to take on lead responsibilities as part of professional development.

Applicants must have the right to work in the UK and reside within a commutable distance to the job location.

Candidate Requirements

We are seeking a Deputy Manager with:

  • A qualified RGN/RMN/RNLD with a valid NMC pin
  • Experience as a deputy manager in a care home (desirable but not essential)
  • A committed, organized approach
  • Excellent communication skills and experience in leading and motivating staff
  • A good understanding of regulatory compliance and quality service delivery
