What We Are Looking For...
- Deliver all operational aspects of the store – managing stockrooms, remote storage, containers, and back of house areas, ensuring they are maintained to a high standard in accordance with company guidelines. Liaise with the Store Manager to ensure appropriate capacity and manage all stock processes, including deliveries and replenishment, training the team to analyze reports effectively.
- Conduct daily floor walks of stockrooms, remote storage, containers, and back of house areas, delegating tasks and setting priorities with your team.
- Oversee Health & Safety requirements, including Fire and Safety checks, ensuring compliance and safety for staff and customers. Manage maintenance logs and escalate concerns appropriately.
- Manage Loss Prevention strategies, protecting profit through stock management and transfers, and deterring theft via excellent service. Support stocktake planning and implementation.
- Ensure effective management of sale launches throughout stockrooms. Support sales growth and connect with customers.
- Work independently with initiative and demonstrate strong communication and leadership skills.
- Be passionate about delivering a world-class customer experience.
- Plan and organize effectively, with a proven track record of reducing stock loss.
- Preferably have experience managing remote/off-site stockrooms and large teams in high turnover environments. Previous experience at Operations Manager level or as a deputy/medium store manager aiming for larger environments is advantageous.
