A nurturing children's care organization in Great Doddington is seeking a Deputy Manager for its Children's Home. The role involves leading the team, ensuring high-quality care for young people with social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties, and supporting the Registered Manager. Candidates should hold a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent and have at least 1 year of relevant experience. Deputy Manager - Children's Home
Location: Finedon, Wellingborough
Salary: £28,000 - £31,000 base salary + £62.64 per sleep-in (Potential earnings up to £38,516)
Working Hours: Full-time, including weekends – approx. 2 on / 4 off - working shifts and 9 to 5. Our deputies currently do 70% shifts and 30% admin work.
Number of Sleeps Required: Around 10 sleeps per month

Service Users: YPs with Social, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties
Qualifications Required: Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or NVQ 3 in Caring for Children and Young People
Experience Required: Minimum 1 year working with YPs with EBD

An experienced and committed Deputy Manager to support the daily operations of the home, ensuring exceptional care is delivered at all times. You will take a hands-on approach in leading the team and providing therapeutic support to young people while sharing the management responsibilities alongside the Registered Manager.
