A leading healthcare organization in Dover is seeking a Deputy Manager for its East Kent Community Rehabilitation Service. The ideal candidate will be a registered mental health nurse with excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, aiming to improve lives of individuals with complex mental health needs. An exciting opportunity has arisen within the East Kent Community Rehabilitation Service at Rivendell.
The team requires a Deputy Unit Manager and the successful candidate should be an enthusiastic and motivated registered mental health nurse with sound knowledge and skills to take on this challenging but rewarding role.
This is a 12 month secondment so would be an ideal opportunity for an individual wanting to develop their leadership skills.
Rivendell is situated in Eastry, near Sandwich and is one of 6 Rehabilitation Units across Kent, which provides specialist inpatient rehabilitation for individuals with complex mental health and psychological needs. The unit comprises 10 single bedrooms and is staffed 24 hour a day, 7 days a week.
The multidisciplinary team provides a wide range of individualized interventions delivered by nursing, medical, psychological, occupational therapy and peer support clinicians.
You will also have excellent interpersonal skills to manage and supervise staff effectively.
You will be working with a wide range of experienced and friendly professionals providing high quality care with compassion.
