Job summary

ACR Recruitment & Training Ltd in Gloucestershire is seeking a Nursery Manager for a permanent, full-time role in Chipping Campden. You will lead a team of Early Years Practitioners and ensure smooth daily operations in a warm, child-centred setting.

You’ll oversee safeguarding, EYFS delivery, and strong partnerships with parents and external professionals, while collaborating with Directors on health and safety, recruitment, and staff development.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Early Years qualification or above (essential).
• Minimum 2 years’ recent nursery/preschool leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding and Ofsted standards.
• Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a team of Early Years Practitioners.
• Oversee the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring full compliance with statutory requirements.
• Implement and maintain a high-quality, play-based EYFS curriculum.
• Build strong, positive relationships with parents, carers, and external professionals.
• Coordinate safeguarding and SENCO responsibilities.
• Work alongside the Directors to support health & safety, recruitment, staff development, finance, and administration.
