Job description

We are seeking a capable and motivated Deputy Manager to support our domiciliary care service in South Woodham Ferrers, currently delivering around 800 care hours per week. With a strong staff team already in place, this is an excellent opportunity for someone ready to take on more responsibility and help drive quality and compliance forward.

You’ll work closely with the Registered Manager to strengthen service delivery and ensure full adherence to CQC standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support daily operations and care coordination
  • Supervise care staff and maintain quality care delivery
  • Support with audits, compliance, and action planning
  • Assist with care planning and staff development
  • Contribute to the on-call rota as required

Requirements:

  • Experience in a senior or deputy role within domiciliary care
  • Strong understanding of CQC compliance and service quality expectations
  • NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Health and Social Care (or working towards Level 5)
  • Excellent interpersonal and team leadership skills
  • Driver with own transport
  • Salary between £28,000–£33,000, depending on experience
  • Flexible working arrangements
  • Ongoing training and development opportunities
  • Support from an experienced, well-staffed team
  • Paid on-call duties
