Job summary

Start Monday is seeking a Deputy Manager to join our 4-bed Therapeutic Children's Residential Home in Ashford, Kent. You will lead the care team, support the Registered Manager, ensure Ofsted compliance and uphold a safe, nurturing environment for looked-after children.

The role requires a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare, with Level 5 Leadership & Management or willingness to pursue it. A full UK driving licence and strong leadership are essential to drive positive outcomes for young

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare, or willingness to work towards it.
• Experience working within a Children\'s Residential Home.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Support the Registered Manager with the day-to-day running of the home.
• Lead, motivate and develop the care team.
• Ensure the home remains compliant with Ofsted regulations and company policies.
• Promote positive outcomes and safeguard the welfare of all young people.
• Participate in the management on-call rota as required.
• Assist with staff supervision, recruitment and training.
• Build positive relationships with families, professionals and external agencies.

Are you an experienced Senior Residential Support Worker, Team leader or Deputy Manager looking for your next challenge?

We are recruiting for a dedicated Deputy Manager to join a well-established 4-bed Therapeutic Children's Residential Home, supporting young people to achieve positive outcomes in a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment.

Working alongside the Registered Manager, you'll play a key role in leading the team, maintaining high standards of care, and ensuring the home continues to provide outstanding support for the children and young people.

The Role

• Support the Registered Manager with the day-to-day running of the home.

What We're Looking For

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare, or willingness to work towards it.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Passion for making a genuine difference to young people's lives.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
