Deputy Logistics Manager — Aylesford

Salary: £Great + Good benefits

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm

Assisting the Logistics Manager with the running of the onsite logistics operations including but not exclusive to: Health and Safety; Finished goods; Warehouse activities; Raw material; Weighbridge; Yard operations; Material handling equipment; Site housekeeping; Shipments in and out; Payroll; Stock control and SAP systems; Truck agreements; Shunting; Loading/shipment handling.

• Health and Safety oversight within site operations.
• Management of finished goods and stock control.
• Coordinate warehouse activities and raw material handling.
• Oversee weighbridge, yard operations and material handling equipment.
• Ensure site housekeeping and orderly shipments in and out.
• Handle payroll and SAP systems related to logistics.
• Negotiate truck agreements, manage shunting and loading/shipment handling.
