Job summary

University of Exeter seeks a part-time post to advance Public and Patient Involvement (PPI) within the ARC South West. The role focuses on building relationships with ARC partners and community groups to deliver the PPI Action Plan and ensure accurate reporting to funders.

The post is fixed-term to 30 November 2029, requires a university degree, and may involve DBS checks. You will work within the Engaged Health Research Group alongside other NIHR-supported teams.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent.
• Experience in involving communities in research.
• Experience from a research setting.

Responsibilities

• Co‑develop and deliver the ARC SW PPI Action Plan.
• Coordinate annual reporting of PPI for ARC SW themes.
• Coordinate the ARC PPI team and support wellbeing.
• Work with ARC SW colleagues and community groups to engage under-represented groups.
• Collaborate with theme leads to support PPI activities.
