We are currently seeking a Deputy Lead Nurse (Band 6) to join our dedicated Hospice at Home team. This role supports the delivery and development of our expanding service, providing high-quality care for babies, children, and young people in their own homes.
Here at Rainbows Childrens Hospice, we provide specialist palliative care and end-of-life support to over 750 Babies, Children, and Young People living with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, as well as approximately 3,000 people, including families, siblings, and carers, across the East Midlands. Simply put, were here to brighten short lives and support families, wherever they are.Families of babies, children, and young people with serious or terminal conditions are often overwhelmed by the challenges of complex healthcare needs, numerous professionals and appointments, and the ongoing impact on family life. Location: This role will require you to travel and work around the East Midlands, focused on our Kettering & Northamptonshire case load. However, you will be required to cover the other 4 counties as well of: Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, and Lincolnshire.Hours of work: 37.5 over 7 days with the occasional requirement to start early or finish later due to the needs of a family and the flexibility to do nights, upon discussion.
