Job summary

Oasis Restore is recruiting a Deputy House Manager for its secure school in Rochester, Medway. The role leads a large residential team, ensuring safety, care and development for students aged 12–18, within a therapeutic and restorative framework.

You will work under House Managers and the Residential Leadership Team, delivering high-quality care, staff supervision, and coordination of rotas to support daily operations across day and night shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in children's residential care or related field.
• Demonstrable experience delivering care in line with Children's Homes Quality Standards.
• Ability to manage large residential staff and rota planning.
• Commitment to restorative and trauma-informed practice.

Responsibilities

• Oversee care of children and supervision of staff within the secure school.
• Chair handovers, coordinate staff allocation and manage day/night rotas.
• Ensure high standards of care, safeguarding and accountability across shifts.
• Develop staff practice and embed restorative culture across the team.
