Job Title: Deputy Manager Homecare Service
Location: Abingdon, Oxford
Salary: £35,000 per annum
Hours: Monday-Friday
We are seeking a compassionate, experienced, and highly motivated Deputy Manager to join our dedicated team in delivering exceptional homecare services. As Deputy Manager, you will play a key leadership role in supporting the Registered Manager in the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance, and team performance.
Key Responsibilities
To assist the Registered Manager in all aspects of care management, deputising where necessary.
To line manage the Client Assessor in their role managing clients needs and compliance.
To line manage the Care Coordinators in creating and delivering safe and efficient rotas.
To line manage the Training Manager in their role delivering and maintaining all training requirements.
To line manage the Care Workers ensuring the safe and CQC compliant delivery of care.
To ensure consistent application of the company s policies, procedures and approved practice.
To lead and contribute to the care management.
To ensure all statutory obligations are fully met.
Requirements
NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (minimum); Level 5 desirable or willingness to work towards.
At least 2 years experience in a supervisory or senior care role.
Strong understanding of CQC standards and homecare operations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Ability to work under pressure, prioritise, and make sound decisions.
Driver with access to a vehicle (preferred, depending on service area).
