A leading care provider in Stockton-on-Tees is looking for a Deputy Home Manager. You will oversee clinical care standards, provide support to residents, and mentor a compassionate team. The ideal candidate has an NMC Pin and experience with person-centred care. Join a workplace where kindness is paramount, enhancing the lives of our residents and your professional growth.
As a Deputy Home Manager, you’ll be ensuring the level of clinical care goes beyond professional standards and regulatory requirements. You will provide specialist nursing support and advice, take responsibility for resident care in the Home Manager’s absence, and supervise/coaches colleagues to deliver compassionate, high-quality service.
HC-One is looking for a Deputy Home Manager with a valid NMC Pin, knowledge of National Standards and the NMC code of practice, and a background in person-centred care planning within a care home. You’ll bring brilliant, positive energy, strong mentoring skills, effective time management, and the ability to keep meaningful records. When communicating with residents or colleagues, you’ll be truly considerate and kind.
You’ll value kindness above all. This drives our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes, where every team member treats residents as people with their own stories. By joining HC-One, you’ll have an opportunity to give something back to those people.
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. You should recognise signs of possible abuse, harm or neglect and know how to respond. All colleagues are expected to attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and to undertake additional training as needed, including seeking appropriate advice and escalating concerns if action is not taken.
At HC-One, kindness is a core belief. Caring for people means caring about what matters most to them so they can lead their best possible life. We expect our team to demonstrate five qualities every day, which we call the HC-One Way: Kindness in how we show up, curious in asking questions and seeking understanding, compassionate by walking in others’ shoes, creative yet practical in making things happen, and courageous in supporting residents to live the life they want, and always being counted on.
We champion inclusivity, fostering a workplace where everyone feels valued and can be themselves. Our diverse and inclusive workforce helps us learn from each other and better represent the communities we serve. Our colleagues strive to deliver outstanding care and are supported in their professional and personal growth through robust career pathways, CPD, and postgraduate programmes. HC-One invests in you with opportunities to progress into regional and national roles.
We are committed to ensuring our current and future colleagues can be their true selves, with inclusive practices and rapid progression from offer to start date. Pay rate is subject to experience and qualifications.
