Job summary

Northfield Manor Primary Academy is seeking a Deputy Head Teacher to support the Head Teacher in providing strategic leadership and direction for the school. The role involves formulating aims, establishing policies, managing staff and resources, and monitoring progress toward the school's vision.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Head Teacher to set school aims and policies.
• Lead whole-school teaching and learning improvements and data-informed strategies.
• Oversee appraisal, professional development, and induction for staff.
• Line manage senior leaders and oversee staff absence, cover, and PPA.
• Support safeguarding and work with the Designated Safeguarding Lead.
• Represent the school within Victoria Academies Trust and external networks.
