Salary: £54,939 - £60,644 - L5 - L9
Hours: 40 hours per week

Aurora Hedgeway is a dynamic and inspiring provision for children and young people aged 7-19 with a primary or secondary diagnosis of Autism and related social and communication needs.
We are currently looking for a Deputy Headteacher – Quality of Education for our Aurora Hedgeway School. The school supports young people aged 7 - 19 with a primary or secondary diagnosis of Autism and related social and communication needs.
We offer life skills and a wide range of GCSE/ Functional Skills/BTEC accreditations alongside a functional skills/entry level pathway. Behaviours across the school are excellent.
The role:
We are looking for an inspirational and engaging Deputy Headteacher who shares our commitment and vision in providing an ambitious and therapeutic, person-centred learning environment for our students.
Working collaboratively with the Headteacher, you will have knowledge, experience, and interpersonal skills to develop our school in accordance with our shared values and development plans. You will also lead, manage, and deputise for the Headteacher on site and off site as and when required, as well as occasionally carrying out the professional duties of a class teacher as required.
