Deputy Headteacher – Pastoral (SEND)

Location: North West England

We are seeking an exceptional and experienced Deputy Headteacher for dynamic teams.

The multi-academy trusts we are currently working with are in an exciting period, and we are seeking experienced Deputy Headteachers who will be responsible for leading on curriculum development, teaching and learning, management of senior leaders, and pastoral support across the family of schools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a robust and engaging curriculum that meets the needs of all pupils
  • Oversee and drive improvements in teaching and learning practises
  • Manage and support the work of senior leaders within the Trust
  • Provide strong pastoral care and support for pupils, staff, and the wider school community

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree
  • Qualified SENDCo
  • Substantial experience as a senior leader in a primary or secondary school setting
  • Proven track record of driving school improvement and raising standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to the Trust ethos and values

Desirable Qualities:

  • Experience of working within a multi-academy trust
  • Strong understanding of the latest educational policies and initiatives
  • Ability to think strategically and lead change effectively
  • Passion for providing high-quality, inclusive education
