Job summary

Educational Diversity, part of Synergy Education Trust, operates across two sites to support children and young people from primary age through to Year 11. We seek an exceptional Deputy Headteacher to shape our future and drive school improvement.

As a values-driven leader, you will work with the Headteacher and senior team to embed Belong, Learn, Progress and Prepare across the school, ensure safeguarding, and raise outcomes for pupils facing barriers to learning.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership experience and capability to deputise for the Headteacher.
• Commitment to inclusion and safeguarding across two sites.
• Energy, curiosity and ambition to drive school improvement.
• Experience in Alternative Provision welcomed but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership across the school and deputise for the Headteacher.
• Lead on culture, behaviour, attendance, engagement and relationships.
• Serve as the school's Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL).
• Support, coach and challenge leaders to deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Maintain a teaching commitment and model excellent classroom practice.
• Champion inclusion and hold high expectations for all pupils.
