Post: Deputy Headteacher - Inclusion
Location: Handsworth Grange Community Sports College
Pay scale: Leadership Range - L18: £78,702 to L22: £86,803 gross per annum
Contract: Permanent, 32.5 hours per week, full time
Start date: 01 January 2026

Handsworth Grange Community Sports College is an oversubscribed 11-16 school in the southeast of Sheffield. We are seeking to appoint a Deputy Headteacher; the successful candidate will be responsible for strategic leadership of all areas of inclusion across the school. This appointment is a key opportunity to join a highly supportive, passionate, committed and experienced team who lead ethically and morally and with the best interests of all students at the centre of all decision making.

The closing date is at 9.00am on Monday 20 October 2025 and interviews will take place on Thursday 23 and Friday 24 October 2025. Candidates are encouraged to have an informal discussion about the role with Ms Mattock, Headteacher. Visits to school are encouraged.
