Hillbrook is more than a primary school, it is a happy, successful learning community where everyone is welcomed and valued.

We are a large 3 form entry School with a fantastic reputation at the heart of a diverse and vibrant multi-ethnic community. We are located in Tooting South West London, very close to both Tooting Broadway and Tooting Bec Stations.

We are looking to appoint an exceptional non- class based Deputy Head Teacher who will be at the heart of the leadership at Hillbrook, working alongside an experienced and driven Senior Leadership Team

You will be responsible for leading our Inclusion team and for promoting pastoral care and Community cohesion across the whole school. You will also be instrumental in the day to day running of the school and contribute to the strategic planning at Hillbrook.

We are looking for someone who: -

  • Is an excellent classroom practitioner, with high expectations of children’s achievement and behaviour
  • Is committed to genuine inclusion at every level
  • Is an excellent communicator and team player, with the ability to lead, motivate, inspire and support our established, hardworking team
  • Is able to form positive relationships with the staff, children, governors, parents and the wider community
  • Is able to balance a strong vision and high expectations with empathy and understanding
  • Has the talent to think creatively and imaginatively, anticipating and solving problems
