Education Experts are appointing a Deputy Headteacher on an interim, full-time basis for a large 11–18 secondary academy in West Yorkshire (BD13). Job description

We are a Lot 1 Agency Supplier on the GCA Framework and as such, have been appointed by a growing, Multi Academy Trust in the West Yorkshire (BD13) area to assist them with some immediately available interim vacancies.

This Deputy Headteacher role is available immediately on a full-time, interim basis and will be offered until at least Easter 2027 with the potential to extend across the whole academic year. The site is a large, oversubscribed 11–18 secondary academy with around 1,100 to 1,300 pupils. Currently navigating a period of change, and recently having completed their Ofsted, the Multi Academy Trust are seeking a strong senior leader to support the school particularly in areas such as attendance and pastoral. We are able to offer a daily rate paid to scale from day one at L24 and the trust is also in a position to offer accommodation costs for a candidate who may not be local to the school.

• A relevant UK based teaching (QTS) qualification.
• National Professional Qualification for Senior Leadership (NPQSL) or (NPQML)
• Substantial experience working within a UK based secondary school education setting.
• All required documents for safer recruitment processing including, but not limited to a valid right to work proof and a valid Enhanced DBS.
• Exceptional references.
