Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: Full Time
Number of positions: 1
Qualifications Required: QTS, Degree & NPQ or be working towards, DSL training level 3 or willingness to work towards
Start Date: 1st September 2025
Salary: L11 - L15 £64,129 - £70,639 per annum

At Moston Lane Primary, we’re not just recruiting a Deputy Headteacher. We’re seeking an exceptional leader—someone who will inspire our diverse school community, champion our most vulnerable learners, and drive excellence at every level.

Following the well-earned retirement of our current Deputy Headteacher, we’re excited to welcome a new leader to help shape the next chapter of our thriving school.

As Deputy Headteacher you will:

  • Lead Inclusive Education - Shape our SEND provision to ensure every child receives the support they need to thrive.
  • Drive Positive Behaviour - Lead our whole-school behaviour approach, creating a culture of fairness, safety, and respect.
  • Elevate Teaching Standards - Mentor staff and embed evidence-based strategies that raise achievement across all phases.
  • Champion Vulnerable Learners - Narrow gaps and create opportunity for our Pupil Premium, SEND, and EAL students.
  • Partner with the Headteacher - Co-lead strategic direction and deputise for the Headteacher when required.
